After the successful pilot in 2008, SAFE! was lucky enough to secure funding from the Ministry of Justice to pay for a part time Project Manager for three years (2011 to 2014). In 2015 SAFE! was successful in their bid to run the contract to develop services for young victims of crime with the Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner. This contract covers the cost of all our one-to-one support sessions for 8 to 18 year olds and some of our core costs.

SAFE! provides support free of charge and when it is most needed; when a young person decides they would like it. SAFE! does not operate a waiting list and we hope to secure funds each year to be able to maintain this position.

Since July 2015 our core work with 8 to 18 year olds has been funded by the Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner when we were granted the contract to deliver services to young victims of crime across the region.

SAFE! raises money for additional services through various fundraising activities including grant and trust applications, donations, events, sponsorship, supermarket and community group collections and book sales. If you can do anything to help us please let us know - we are always keen to hear new ideas and will do our best to support you to fundraise of behalf of SAFE! In May 2017 SAFE! presented at a live crowd-funding event organised by The Funding Network, and raised £4000 towards our Parent Support Project. See for more information.
