Support SAFE!
There are lots of ways you can support SAFE! and below are a few top tips
SAFE!'s direct work costs a minimum of £30,000 a year and donations to the project help us ensure that we are able to continue providing support free of charge and when it is most needed; when a young person decides they would like it.
To support the project in this way you can make a donation or set up a regular gift.
You can make a donation here.
SAFE! are always looking for volunteers to support the project and we do our best to match people's skills and interests to their role as a volunteer.
If you are able to volunteer three hours a week for a minimum of six months please email SAFE! to discuss what opportunities are available.
When a young person has been harmed it can be shocking, scary, upsetting and undermine their idea of who they are. It can affect every part of their life, making it hard to talk about their feelings and making them scared to leave their home.
It is important people know that support is available and where to access it. Support SAFE! by having posters and leaflets about the project on display. Contact us to be sent leaflets and posters for display.
Have fun with your friends and family and support SAFE! at the same time by holding a dinner party for SAFE! Just invite people you like, cook a delicious meal for them and ask everyone coming to make a donation to SAFE! as a way of contributing to the evening. This a great way to have fun with a difference!
Many community and faith groups, supermarkets and schools hold collections for local charities and especially like to hold collections for causes their members and customers support or have benefitted from.
By enquiring in school or to the organisation you could nominate SAFE! to receive their support.
SAFE! are always happy to come and talk about our work to groups who are interested in supporting it. Speaking events are a great way to raise awareness of the support offered to young people who have been harmed by crime and bullying and how people can access the project. Contact us to find out more.
Join the SAFE! team and help us raise much needed funds and awareness for our work with young people. You can make a massive difference to the lives of young people who are struggling to cope after their experiences and we will support you to make the biggest difference you can.We welcome sporting fundraisers for any races or events all year round.
We are always keen to hear new ideas so please do contact us with your suggestions and ideas for how you can support SAFE!
